Seagate's new half-terabyte portable drive is "the world's thinnest". What does that mean?

  • The dock comes with the Mac version. It's an optional accessory for the PC version. Not sure retail price, but they're available at Best Buy and other retailers. I've heard around $30.

  • Just by putting your wallet into view i now have you credit card number.

Holding it ransom, looking to trade for items of similar worth. Cattle, Taiwanese Children, a 1989 Toyota Tercel etc.

  • Cool... thanks for showing this. Did more justive than the pics on Seagate's website.

Will replace the buttered toast on my wishlist with this piece of digital joy!

  • I have a black free agent go 1tb, ignore all these people about failed drives, it works fine, he'll I even dropped it 7 inches onto my hard desk (ON)and it still works

  • Toast? yummy.....

  • Did anyone had some similar problems with this hard drive..freezing..slowing down..not being able to update...not even to preform simple error check (chkdsk)...even the test says that the product is bad...is there any solution..thnx

  • 5 year warranty?

  • the guy is gay

  • JUNK! I just bought Seagate 500gb free agent Go one week ago. It has already failed after extremely minimal use. Never dropped, just sat next to my computer to transfer simple video and text files which it did fine for 5 or 6 transfers before suddenly not transfering any more files ( with over 470 GB still free ), not recognizing itself and just beeps every 1 to 2 seconds! Seagate needs a lawsuit brought against them. I bought this as a reliable backup for my data.

    No more Seagate products!

  • Was not expecting the piece of toast haha.

But damb! That is a thin hard drive!!
