by definition, selling out is being untrue to yourself in order to make money. i see in no way how anti-flag has sold out. i could understand, and, indeed, agree with the argument that they had sold out if this record was filled with songs about having sex and getting high and going to the club. but it's the same politically-charged, passionate anti-flag as in previous records. except now it's easier for them to get the message they're so passionate about across to the people.

This isn't meant for punx, it's meant for people. Also, a fucking amazing album to listen to when i'm bmxing toward the seattle ferry terminal, or skating it up. And punxxxxxxxxx dont need to get butt hurt, im a real punk as well. (And trolls, my punk-dom is not up for debate) :P

@droyfiend138 This album was less passionate, but their newest was passionate as their old shit. Best album since New Kind of Army.
Bright Lights is just something that sounds alright when you've already listened to your other, better, records though. Not bad, but definitely not great.

ANTI-FLAG DID NOT SELL OUT!They have been approached by many major recored labels over the past 7 or 8 years and they always turned them down. Untill RCA gave them complete freedom. Also because of the change their cd's are manufactured in the countries they are sold. Making it cheaper and easier for fans to buy. They switched to RCA to be heard on a larger scale to get their message out. & they're still singing about important issues...not how shiny their rims are.
