I believe this video now deserves a HD update, so viewers can watch how wonderful the editing skills are for this timeless fantasy flick.

Found this yesterday and can't. Stop. Watching. It.

two of my favorite songs, and one of my favorite films — excellent combo.

That was awesome!
It made me cry and I thank you.

One of the best videos on youtube. Nostalgia abounds and dreams are rebirthed amid joy and tears for childhood memories and yearning for the simpler times of life when youth clung to the power of imagination. I am undone.

This music and the movie - a perfect match! :-)

Two of my favorite instrumental songs put to my favorite childhood movie... this my fellow youtubers is the stuff dreams are made of. BTW I love how you opened and closed the video! WELL DONE!

The first (and for me only) chapter was great!!! I still have the signed "Die unendliche Geschichte"-Book from Michael Ende!! :-)
btw:
The sound in this posted trailer ... does not fit... :-)

IMO the two Scifi channel miniseries did way better than the movies. Sure the decor, the costumes and the FX were sub-par, but the acting was nice and the story was made better justice than any of the movies.
Otherwise I agree, the books have never quite been made justice other than in their native format. Generally I love the movie medium more than books, so I'm still waiting for a visionary director to take on the Dune franchise. Doesn't look very hoperful though...

@Raistlinh Don't bother with the sequel films, they suck.
