gosh! I watched this movie back in 92 or 93, it was broadcasted in TV as mini-series. I remember I was too afraid to see the execution of Louis XVI & my heart broke when I saw Louis XVII was separated from his mom.

This series was aired a lot in Canada, entirely in English! I think I might still have it on tape somewhere. I remember this series to be very historically accurate - which was very refreshing.

I had wished that this film was entirely devoted to the downfall of the Crown. Would be kewl to splice it and make a movie based soley on Louis XVI and his family.

I don't know much more than what I learned it French 1 but I think Wilde332 said something along the lines of: I saw this movie while in France and I loved it. I wonder why they don't play it on tv because it had a big budget and was eceleent.

i own the movies part one and part two. But it is in french. I have look for it all over the internet in english and i cannot find it. If anyone have information on where to find this movies in english please let me know. I love this movie but i dont speak or understand french.
