Heath Ledger was DEFINITELY not overrated. He was very talented; 10 Things I Hate About You was a pretty big movie, though. So was Brokeback Mountain. He was in a lot of big stuff...I wonder why he didn't get more famous?
Gene Kelly IS one of my favorites, but...I have to say, in Singing in the Rain it was Donald O'Conner who stole my heart :p "Make 'em Laugh" is legendary for a reason!

your actor selection is superb!!! I am an aspiring actor too, and i must say the best on the list of actors that you have mention is Kate Winslet. Just look at how she performed in eternal sunshine, The reader, revolutionary road, sense and sensibilty. Look at her interpretation of Ophelia in Hamlet, she made julie christie look like an amateur. My whole acting style is inspired by her. Good luck on finding your dream. Hope to see you in LA..xoxo

@MelisaSmileyFace TOO old lol, you're never too old to start acting. There's a lady in her 50's in one of my improv classes that is just starting out. I guess I really started, at least "seriously," when I was like 18ish.
