honestly, it's a real shame we didn't see more of these two. they really have the potential to be the next "Nao & Yuhka". In my opinion, they're the only ones that can give N&Y a run for their money. :P

*nods* I agree. Yuhka and Nao had great chemistry and grew into their characters well that's why they became such legends. But Takayo does have a better singing voice compared to Yuhka. I have to cringe whenever she sings 'Neptune' =3

Hmm, well I can now say that I have checked out Nao and Yuhka's greatest competetion, and my overall assessment is that while vocally these two are on par with Nao and Yuhka, physically they're a little disappointing. Akiko lacks that strangely male presence that should be evident in everything Haruka/Uranus does, and the costume crew appears to be trying out a wig that just isn't Uranus. Takayo has the elegance needed for Michiru/Neptune, but she does't quite have the effortless grace down.

I suddenly fell in love just now. Akiko's voice is perfect for Uranus(she sounds just like Uranus' anime seiyuu Ogata Megumi-san). When they both came in and said their little speeches I thought I was listening to the anime. Amazing. Takayo is both pretty and elegant and has a very good voice also. Sometimes when singing her voice sounds a little like Marina's somehow (same with some of her facial expressions) so that distracted me a little, but she is still amazing. I love them. :)

i like a lot of the uranus and neptune pairings but i do love these two and agree its a shame we didnt see more of them. they were the right age too, since uranus and neptune are only supposed to be a few years older than the other senshi.

Such a shame we never got to see more of these two. They're my favorite pair of UraNep since Nao and Yuhka.
