My dad was from Rawmarsh near Rotherham.I saw these beauties when we visited.Better than any of your Angel of the North.things.Real; living belching monsters.Sad to see them go.

My dads friends dad was working on one of the towers and he fell of it, half an hour before a truck came and emptied a load of sand, he landed in the sand breaking near enough every bone in his body but he survived

Used to be able to see them from my Nan's house. Sad to see that they got knocked down, especially when so many people wanted them keep up.
