Because we can safely say that Daniel Heatcliff lays down the law with this fantastic piece of music called "Phoenix". The track, also featured on the latest In Trance We Trust 14 mix compilation by Daniel Wanrooy, is an outstanding and absolutely mind boggling beauty in the world of trance. The thick, fat and relentlessly hammering beats, strings and synths deliver a perfect blueprint for a professional production that remains interesting from start to finish. The techno style build up of "Phoenix" already reveals some of its secrets in the first two minutes and moves towards a fragile break, ending in a heavily distorted theme while all the visitors at your live set will raise their arms in pure ecstasy, screaming for more. Cor Fijneman took the assignment and his remix is exactly that: a re-mix. He reworked the track completely, and with Fijneman's additional programming the phoenix rises from its ashes as a hard stomping big room track that will knock your socks off. "Phoenix" by Daniel Heatcliff is a bare necessity for every name in the industry. No question.
