I think the Washita massacre in this film, especially when Sunshine dies, trying so hard to escape, just after seeing her baby die first, is the most heartbreaking movie scenr I've EVER seen.

I agree, I saw this movie years ago and loved it so much that I bought it in Vhs. I still have it. Great acting and sadly this movie according to the stories I have read about the treatment of the Native Americans and the near genocide committed to them here and in Canada is horrendous. Little Big Man opened the eyes and hearts of many people who did not know the whole story.

My point, which seems to be beyond you, seaux-seaux, is that both sides are portrayed as ridiculous stereotypes in that silly leftist movie. The fact is that western culture is far more noble, and the Indians were far more savage.

Maybe you were just smarter when you were a kid, Chuck, or maybe you had a soul back then. Read the Lewis and Clark journals, and the account of Sand Creek. Which side seems to have better values? Ever wonder why Indians didn't stay on the lands that had oil and gold beneath them, or arable topsoil on the surface. Oh, yeah, they didn't have a choice. You try to win against a crooked dealer.

And the generations of Sioux since are living off the government in filthy reservations, scratching their nasty backsides as they squat in the dirt drinking cheap liquor.
