CYB Lincoln Center Trailer

You all know the saying: "What goes around, comes around?"

Twenty years after it was first filmed at Lincoln Center, Check Your Body at the Door returns to Lincoln Center's Walter Reade Theater on January 31, featured as the closing film of the "Dance on Camera Festival."

In 1992 Sally Sommer and the early production team invited actual club dancers to LC's Clark Studio Theater, marking the first time this dancing was brought into the light, using the dancers and House dancing as the core of a documentary. Now in 2012, we return home with a 60-minute film, part of the prestigious co-presentation of Lincoln Center's Film Society and Dance Films Association.
