Created on February 12 , 2010 using FlipShare. you need 2 onions 3 beers and a grill to fire them up on just for the smoked flavor. be sure to let brats simmer in beer with onions for at least 2 hours but you can simmer them as long as you want. Be sure to poke holes in the brats so they do not tear and this way they absorb all the goodness of the onion and beer
