He has the cards already arranged in 4's. If you look at 1:06 you can see that he alreayd has the numbers ready. So when he shuffles, it's justthe same numbers.

agh, i dont want to be the villain here, but when he says he'll take a card from each pile, he takes a card from 2 piles, puts them on top of the other 2 piles, and then took 2 more cards from the same piles. so technically he took 2 cards from the piles on the end. he's a lier...
