Jesus H this was a maddening game. I loved it to death though but never progressed too far. As a kid I remember the magazine "Micro User" showed all the screens - I think I had seen barely a tenth of them. It could have been a classic but it's very much in the niche arena. To echo previous comments it was infuriating difficult to time all the jumps. I do remember bashing the "Break" key quite a few times on my Beeb as, once again, I failed miserably.
Anybody have the controls? I jst found my old tape of this but no instructions I can remember left, right and up and down but cant remember how to pick up or shoot.
I'd like to take some kid from today who reckons they're a really great gamer, sit them in front of this, and tell them "right, this is an old 2D, 8-bit game from 24 years ago, with a small playing area and very simple controls. Let's see you finish it".
LOVE this game! How did you get such an old game from an old BBC Micro on YouTube? I still have my BBC Micro and all the olf games - this one, Moonraider, Stryker's Run, Death Star....shame the BBC smoked last time I switched it on!
Prior to seeing this I believed Atic Atac was the best looking game on the Beeb

this game re-invented the terms "PIXEL PERFECT" and "HARDCORE GAMER". it virtually impossible to progress a single screen without cheating

I remember this one - another one of those infuriating BBC micro games that was almost near impossible.
