I don't understand, why is there a big stone screen in the center of the church?

Amazing Cathedral and Choir! Love it!

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen:
Yes, yes, yes!
A very good song and excellent singing.
I will comment here on the quality of singing of Westminster choristers compared with those of Kings College.
I think both choirs are outstanding.
But, I think Westminster stands and delivers a little better, from time to time.
Compare the John Gardner "Tomorrow Shall Be My Dancing Day" by both Westminster and Kings College and you will see what I mean.
Have a Dovely.
Sincerely yours,
Caleb Boone.

The Anglicans do as good, if not a better job on the Latin, than the Latins do. Of course, they've always paid attention to the ceremonial details (ars celebrandi) and the liturgical atmosphere with appropriate use of holy smoke and bells than you will generally find in many Catholic churches.

Magnificant....truly nice!

@ScottMacFie Yes I agree. So many confuse the Anglican communion with 'Protestantism'. Nothing could be further from the truth, although I would concede that 'Anglicanism' can encompass quite a 'broad' church. But that in turn is it's strength, not it's weakness.

@ds1868 : And arguably, Orthodoxy was introduced to the British Isles in the First Century AD, what we now see are the remnants in our Glorious Anglicanism.

@BobP863 Glad you like it. As far as Latin is concerned, quite a large percentage of our music in the Church of England is in Latin, as our church has been around for the past 1,600 years, give or take a few decades. The split in 1532 was merely replacing a corrupt and perverted Pope for an extremely vicious and ruthless King. Same difference.
Excellent. Really like this setting by Langlais. And the Abbey organ comes up trumps here!
