Michael Jackson was influenced by white dancers such as Fred Astaire and Elvis was obviuously influenced by black music. But it doesn't change the fact that the music industry is racist and will ultimately always try to subsume black artists into white ones; like Otis Blackwell into Elvis, or even Michael into Elvis!
