  • can't believe this is an old band. it was way ahead of its time. i mean looking at music now it just seems we've devolved.

  • @LivesUnderABridge Why did you give your brains for scientif experiments so young?

  • I think the most annoying thing about music is people saying it died because of how old bands use to be better, it's a generational thing.

  • @th1s1sm1n3 See that is what is wrong with music today your "don't get me wrong i don't like slaughter houses" everyone is to busie trying to be PC that rock died because rock and punk rock was NEVER pc.

  • @bunburyZ Music has devolved a band today would even have the balls to name themselves Rapeman, everything went corporate disney punk no emotion my iPod is fil;led with late 80s and early 90s really hard bands.

  • @vilepete Actually, here's the article: petdance[dot]com/actionpark/bigblack/songs/cables.php

  • @vilepete Don't get me wrong, I'm not endorsing slaughterhouses, but Steve Albini has said that in the town he grew up in people would regularly visit the slaughterhouse to watch cows get killed because there was nothing else to do, and after that he wrote a song about how great meat is.

  • @th1s1sm1n3 If you say so... I dislike all kinds of authoritarianism, including the ones «advocating» what I believe...But it happens that I also know a person who worked in a place like that, who told me the most humane predictable thing about those 'factories': It was revolting, sickening... But let's see how long this Planet stands our «civilized» and selfish «advanced» societies...

  • @vilepete Steve Albini has done that. Listen to Cables by Big Black. He may live in Chicago but he's from Montana.

  • I love to listen to this song after i've eaten a big bloody steak.

  • The sound of a guitar being played through a huge electrified meat grinder. God bless Steve Albini, Travis Bean, and delicious italian sausage.
