Severe thunderstorm/ close lightning strike

Filming a severe thunderstorm on 7/11/09. The cloud structure that forms in the begining of video was really impressive, but the lightning strike that made our hair stand up was awesome! We got about an inch of rain in five minutes, causing street flooding. We had five storms this day. Three were sever warned, and one produced three tornados and numerous funnel cloud sightings, and two touch downs in our area, prompting tornado warnings half way across the state as the storm moved east.

@DJATKU2 Thanks! We had a long dry spell this summer. The past week or so, we've been getting some good storms. I did shoot a little lightning video. Might post it. Not too exciting though. Thanks again for commenting!

Lucky buggers, we've hardly and I mean hardly, had any thunderstomrs here in the UK this year. This is seriously strange and concerning. Not even one severe storm! Superb video here though.
