A video created from the High-Speed Rail Design Workshop in Palo Alto on Oct. 3-4, 2009. This workshop explored ideas on how the California High-Speed Rail could come though the Peninsula and how that would fit, focusing on Palo Alto, Menlo Park, and Atherton.

  • He says "Think of the HSR line as a line .. cutting through town". Brilliant! No wonder our society can't solve problems with people like this working on projects.

  • As if the roads full of unpredictable drivers at 40 MPH don't create a barrier.

  • well during the construction of the route from San Jose to San fransisco, there going have to close down the caltrain, and lease Busses that can transport Caltrain passenger to their destination. or build a temporary station on the union pacific or santa Fe route for the caltrain but they'll have to elliminate the baby bullet express untill the structure is finish because they will share the amtrak and freight train route.
