although aware of this cover, I had never stopped to listen to it. didn't know the original by DM, either. I've first listened to it yesterday morning, and it's been the only thing I've listened to since. I'm...floored, in a way. the message in the song is definitely worth sparing some thought and undoubtedly must get through the original, but to listen to it through Charlotte's talent-filter...my God. there's not one thing this woman will touch that won't turn to gold to me. utterly beautiful!
