i just installed some new subs and a new 1000wtt mono amp and for some reason my aftermarket stereo has started to go static sometimes its so bad i cant understand what im listening to.My stereo never once gave me a problem until now. Could it be that my ground isnt on right or if thats not it what other things could it be.

@gazlsos Thanks i now have to 12" cerwin vegas and 2 1000watt amps in my car :)

@EverydayAvenged1 Red light is your amp going into protect mode. There are a few reasons this may be happening - Poor ground, power surge, incorrect fuse, poor power cable or could even be the amp is faulty (this was the reason my last one wouldnt come out of protect). Borrow a friends amp or put your amps in a friends car to rule out the amp/connections.

@EverydayAvenged1 Use a volt meter to check voltage (Maybe you need a new battery) Check your fuses as well. If not ask a ProAudio Store im sure they'd be happy to help :D
