Goodbye Until Uru

On the last day of Until Uru, I decided to go around and shut down everything in my Ages, as if putting it into storage. Though we now have Uru Live, it was still sad to lose Until Uru. This is my farewell to UU, and a thanks to all those who kept it going.

Hey now, at the time we weren't so sure that was a good idea. After all, blindly following Yeesha's path later directly led to a couple of deaths in the Cavern. (Besides, did you know the game is back?)

it looks like it was the best game ever! i was always a fan of myst. it was the first game i ever played. i guess i like it coz it whas the only time i can remimber seeing my bother. he whas helping me play it...

Anyway, so do you think thare is any real hope of a myst online comeback? or is it just that wishfull thinking sorta hope?

My brother, my "almost brother" (a friend I've known since I was 6 years old), and I played Myst together too, and I have really fond memories of that. Back on my family's first PC. :)

I have Cautious Optimism that it'll return. When it returns really depends on whether or not GameTap releases the rights back to Cyan, as far as I know. If they do it sooner, Cyan will have UU2 up and running sooner. I really think this story is too strong to just die out.

Darn it this game looks insanely cool!!!! :C And all I've found is that it's been shut down.

I still feel like player created levels, and all, it wont be the same without how it was before. And I really think that there should be a filter system for players who dont want certain ages. No dissrespect, but an age takes a lot of hard work to look good. And some of what Ive seen looks pretty simple. IMO I just rather have ages that have true connection to the Myst mythos.

SHORAH GOOD NEWS or average news but gametap and cyan are releasing the sorce code soon of cours at the end of july sense the want the emplyes to have a lovely holiday but uru is coming close to open source so we can create our own caverns and ages and shirts many more change animation around anything we can also join each others shardes so hope for the best they release it at the july 5th mark New Name: Itoku Old Name: Jack Of Blades, Naruto, I Hope I see my friend peni some day again.,.
