@Keeper1st Tom is certainly a genius at being able to sight read first time, without ever having played the piece of music before

Very impressive!

Thank you - and keep staying healthy all you "ragtimers" ...
A shy wave from Europe to you once again.

what is the name of the song that starts at 10:40?

@orangeoranges11 As explained in the description, that was originally published as "Uncle Ben's Cakewalk" but Tom identified it twice here as "Narcissus" so maybe he has changed its name. It appears in Tom's first folio.

From what i read from your video descriptions, it seems like that there are ragtime festivals nearly every weekend^^

@Jikyu Heh... If only! I just record several videos and post them over a long period of time. I still have some shot in July and August that haven't been posted yet, as well as a bunch more from this festival last month.

I don't know who I am more impressed by --- Max with no music in front of him or Tom being able to sight-read on the spot !!! THANKS for posting all of these GREAT videos !!!

@Carmela1957 Well, keep in mind that the music on Tom's piano is only the first tune, "Airplane to Chicago", which he has played before. I do have a video of his very first sight-read of it, though.
