Sweatshops are for the better and will probably be around for some time. Sweatshops are forcing particular Asian people to be better contributors to society. If a society cannot contribute (mathematics, science, trade, advanced weapons, etc.) they are forced to contribute via cheap labor.

Wealth does not equal happiness or spiritual upliftment, it will not give you a more sincere smile or incline you to be more hospitable or civil to your neighbor, it will not make you a whole person....everything is "awesome" and very few are sincerely happy....something has got to change about how we view economic progress.......

this is just another sign that human civilization has failed. when people are allowed to make profit and get rich thanks to the hard labours of others, while doing no work themselves. exploitation of others is the fundamental principle of capitalism.

if you buy nike or if you sell nike products you are guilty of crimes against humanity. there's no excuse. the same as anyone who participated and supported the nazi party. there is no defence for your crimes.

Seriously?! Nazi Party? These people work here of their own accord, no one is forcing them to stay. Sure this is capitalism, but i'm sure you are enjoying its fruits right now as you sit in your air conditioned home on your laptop.

you're right. it's a shame though, we could be preaching the truth all day but the average nike wearer is guarded by a shield of ignorance. it's almost like they enjoy watching the destruction of human civilization at the hands of globalist corporations, and don't even realise that they themselves are also being raped.

they get paid subsistence wages. look that up before you open your big mouth again. nike isn't about sharing it's profits with its workers and making their lives better, it's about a small group of lazy people hoarding all that profit for themselves.

So what?! I would rather be paid subsistence wages that no wages at all! Of course they aren't paid enough, but that does NOT mean we should just close them.
