some explanation: "Les Sucettes" (Lollipops) is a dirty french song written by Serge Gainsbourg that was a huge hit for the very innocent France Gall. When she finally learned of the song's double meaning she freaked out. "The 18-year-old Gall was upset upon finally learning the truth about the lyrics--"mortified, hiding herself away for weeks, refusing to face anyone"(from the wiki) ...so I made this short movie about their collaboration and end because it struck me as sad and amusing. Even though it is based on the song I didn't use either of their versions, instead I opted for "Rock n Roll" from the film Vivre Sa Vie because I felt like it.
Amo el yé-yé, a Gall, a Gainsbourg y la cultura francófona en general. Tu video, la historia y la canción original son encantadoras.
Hope you don't bother by my comment written in spanish.

I don't get how France Gall missed the point.
a) Serge Gainsbourg... say no more!
b) Lollipops - obviously invented by a perv.
It's not as though the signals weren't there for her.
