One of the most inspired and moving songs I've ever heard. This background track is available from the official Dallas Holm web site

  • I'm not familiar with that one. a search on google returned nothing useful. Any chance you remember the album name?

  • It is the closing of Easter in the year 2010 and I thank you for sharing this song as I am watching and listening to your wonderful rendition just now. I needed this and the song has always been one of my favorite Dallas Holm songs ever written out of so many inspired songs that he wrote. You did my heart good this Easter Sir and I thank you as best I can with this simple comment. I was singing along.

    God bless,

    Rolland B. Heiss

  • The Parable of The Fig Tree begins with: The branches so weak and worn...the leaves so brittle and torn..cut me down the Lord could say but give me a year starting today..only one year starting today.. Then it leads into the chorus: Only one year to change my life, only one year to rid sin and strife ....only one year to change my way...only one year...starting today only one year starting today.

One of Dallas Holm's very early songs..

  • GREAT vocals.....very soothing!!!!!!
