@planexzeropoint yeah you could do it like that, at full torque to the fronts, the pump is pressrised to 288psi. HKS make an attesa drag adaptor. on launch its locked in max awd, after speeds up a bit it cuts the power to the fronts, quite an expensive unit ($1000) and also quite hard to find.

if it's hydraulic pressure that locks the box up, you can just engineer a simple way to block the feed tube at will. there's a drag r32 gtr here and he pumps up the 4wd system with a hand pump before start and it bleeds pressure so by the time he's hitting 3rd gear it's gone back to 2wd without him having to do a thing to it.

@PSICHOTIC09 get a 4wd controller you can manually split torque to the front on a liitle dial from 0% to front to 50% i think.

Awesome, i own a Infiniti FX35 which uses the exact same Awd set-up, its bad ass!

where can i find this information the GTR an show in the video

@chrisking666 288psi is the max pressure that line gets from the pump to lock the transfer case. The WC34 Nissan Stagea which uses the attesa system have a 50/50 split button in them, if you can get hold of an attesa ecu from one of them, maybe you could use that for drags. Im going try put one in my cefiro (which also uses the gtr 4wd system) for drags. Otherwise HKS do make an Attesa controler to control the 4wd system for drags, its very expensive though.

@tyndago They are also completely idiots as to how this systems works.
I have a ETC in my r33 gtr i can do powerskids in it but i was told that holding a static burnout in a R33 will wreck the transfer case??? any help is appreciated as no damage has been done yet... how long can i hold a static burnout in a r33 GTR?

@PSICHOTIC09 you have to be careful with the ETC. The R33 and R34 have backup power to the transfercase. This locks the transfer up just a little bit if you cut the main power. When we tested the R33 at HKS, many, many years ago, on a rear wheel dyno, they suggested taking out the driveshaft to prevent damage.

@tyndago Thank you for your reply:) Iv never held a static burnout for more than a few seconds to prevent damage, i was told there is a small amount of pressure to the front to help activate the attessa quicker or something? as the 32's are a bit slower to engage all 4 wheels. No damage yet but good to know i wasnt doing damage.

@PSICHOTIC09 If you take the shifter out, you can see the transfer clutch assembly. Its the silver piece that you can see in my video. It turns blue if you get too much heat to it. Eventually the transfer case clutch needs to be rebuilt. If you notice that you get a lot of wheelspin, then its probably time.

Hey i was wondering somthing would it be possible to use the atessa system in a rear wheel drive s15 and how much trouble would it be to do i figure since its nissan no that much trouble

@speed2922 look up Full Race out in Arizona. They did some all wheel drive swaps on S14. The S15 and S14 are almost the same underneath.
