I find it really depressing to hear a woman singing this paeon and lament for a freaking BUILDING. "Queen of Carmel"? Shouldn't by songwriters be singing things to the "King of Glory" or "Prince of Beauty" Baha'u'llah instead? I mean, your "Most Holy Book" is teaming with admonitions to reverence and worship His Beauteousness. Where are the songs? I guess the picture ruined it. Also, that song by Donna Kime is so old and stale. Have Baha'is written no new songs in 30 years?

In reality B-u-L and the Bab were anti-technology, which is one of the cool things about them, but B-u-L did not formulate any coherent teaching about this. Nothing as good as Christ's "lillies of the field" sermon. Now the Baha'is have it reversed and worship technology instead of God. I get my jollies from protecting the White Europeans and races, and pointing people to authentic religion.

All kinds of technology are common to ancient Indian history. The general teaching of Hinduism, and also Christ, is that there is no salvation in technological manipulation. It is only a re-arrangement of duality. Technological invention is no big deal in their view.

If you have reached such a state of amazing spiritual development that you can write books and advise people where to live (for a fee) why do you find it necessary to get your kicks by attempting to rubbish other peoples spiritual beliefs? Does it make you feel superior or cover some feelings of spiritual inadequacies?
