  • What's an equivilent to the motor cleaner? I have no electric motor cleaner and wanted to know what are the chemical contents that are in that so i could find some similar household items that might work.

  • @partinus99 for brushed I guess use just water....

  • @rcnightmare

ive broken one motor in using the wet method let it run on very fast for like 1-2 mins oiled the bearings and now it's got a short in the windings or sumn. One wire in the windings is shorted out so i'm getting it replaced and i dont want this to happen again so i'm doing a lil more research on how to properly break my new one in

  • @partinus99 try the dry method

  • hi, there, what happen if i dont break-in first and start using rc car. and what does it means by fuel 20% or 30%. which one should i use for my rc car. how many types of fuel are there..

  • @brucevu71 you will damage the motorm and it likely won't last long

  • When you say to re-clean it after about 30 minutes of run time do you mean the whole process, or just spraying with cleaner?

  • what happens if you dont break it in

  • Awesome tutorial. I've been going brushless lately, but I have an old brushed motor from my Rustler and it has turned to absolute crap power-wise lately, since I've been cleaning it with compressed air. I didn't realize I'm supposed to re-oil it. I used to run nitro so I don't know much about electric motors. Thanks so much!

  • My throttle trim is not working, when i turn it,the motor doesnt run by itself at all

  • Can u use wd-40

  • 2 questions. Could I use wd40 as a lubricant? And second could I just take the motor out if my car and put it in the water and run it at a low speed with stock batt?

  • Do u recommend even for one that says 100% ready to run?

  • Will the under water method work on a Tamiya super stock RZ motor?

  • If I want my motor to last as long as possible dry it every time with the drying stuff after tuning in water.
