If all these scabs would have LISTENED to there shop steward or Union rep, they would have known there were "language issues" in the contract, meaning that the companies would continue current employee premiums "UNLESS THERE IS A SHORTFALL IN THE HEALTH AND WELFARE FUND", one hand washes the other, do your homework before you make an ass of yourself and don't know what you are talking about, YOU would have been paying about $200 per month within a year if the union would have accepted this

I personally think that this is a load of crap. The $1.55 raise that they want....ok, but bitching because you have to pay for healthcare....WTF?!?!? Oh no a whole $5 per week for singles, $10 for couples and $15 for families....this is fucking cheap as hell. At my work we pay $250 per month for healthcare and it is excellent. Maybe they should just cut their benefits?????

I work for Safeway 1255 in Tucson arizona. Our contract now is shitty and it will be shitty forever if we dont strike. if we take this contract they have offered us it will break everything the UFCW fights for. Yes its a right to work state but we can take them down! we need to stay United!

What a bunch of spineless tools. We strike now because its the best time to put pressure on the companies. If you allow Frys and Safeway to take advantage of the current economic situation you are giving into corporate greed and we are one step closer to the universal Wal-Mart.
