Gurus are a dime a dozen in India , cult followings around these men are notorious .This is all about human psychology .Understand science and reason and think critically for real answers.

Change the heading to "Yogic Hopping". It is not flying.

I didn't say Patanjali was against acquiring siddhis. I said he warned against their use. He cautioned that they can be spiritually destructive when ego becomes seduced by them. Let's face it, acquiring "powers" can be a very heady thing, and that can blind you to true freedom.

The flying technique is a fraud - I know that first hand.

It's too bad so many people bought into MMY's "program" for that development and depleted their wallets in so doing. Real spirituality has nothing to do with acquiring siddhis - even Patanjali warns against them, but the TM movement was seduced by MMY into chasing them in the name of "enlightenment" - a total con by MMY.

you are wrong my friend there are many large people that practice tm sidhis...and for those that think the look wierd, blank look, remember the world is as you are.

Why don't we never see a 300 pound man or elderly woman "flying"? Because "flying" has NOTHING is an athletic exercise for young, fit people, using a lot of arm movement. It might be fun to do, but has nothing to do with spirituality, or creating world peace, as these people claim. Let's see a 300 pound man "fly" without the big arm movements.
TM is the whore of Eastern Spirituality, and llike all whores, the TM movement will tell you anything to get your money.

I've seen all kinds of people in the TM movement, some I like a lot, some I don't want to have anything to do with. Just like in society as a whole. At least the TM'ers are doing something for their spiritual development, unlike most of the people on the planet. Maharishi Mahesh Yogi has always emphasized that the important thing is the knowledge, not the personalities involved with it.
