They were originally NAMED Mookie Blaylock but changed it for legal reasons and instead dedicated the title of their first album "Ten" to Blaylock. Ten being Blaylock's number at the time. But before that everybody but Vedder were in Mother Love Bone.

dude your an idiot. PJ was originally Mother love bone, the lead singer died. Stone Gossard then found eddie vedder and became Pearl Jam. Kurt coban never was the lead singer....he may have sung "with" the band but was never apart of it
