Thanks Colin. Yes, I remember Barking carnival as a child and have film of it - with Barbara Windsor. I didn't realize that it no longer happened..

Nice, wish Barking still had a carnival! I remember one year during the 70s Diana Dors was in an open back car waving to all the Barking folk!!
