The american church has become infected with the sickness of greed. And where in the bible does it say to give from the gross? Very convient. Take your tithe shakedown and CRAM IT!!!

Oh dear does he realise what he is claiming. If the scriptures did as he said then even the poorest christian would have more than Bill Gates.
Multiplying by 30, 60, 90 times would see the child's dime offerings at age 5, and what child is not cheerful at that age to give, turn into 2.4Million dollar offerings at age 10. This assumes that the child is not as faithful as some and has his multiplied by only 30 times each year.
Who would not be a cheerful giver with these returns

Several problems here.
The Tithe was not income. It was food.
Not everyone Tithed.
The Tithe was not the firstfruits.
The whole Tithe did not go into the Storehouse.
The Tithe (of food) went to "the Levite, the alien, the fatherless and the widow" (Lev 26:12).
We are to give willingly, not under compulsion, because God loves givers to be cheerful. Tithing is a direct VIOLATION of God's Word. It absolutely IS a compulsion, saying that EVERYONE MUST give the first 10% of their income.

In The Christian Church of the New Testament, there was NO TITHING ASKED BY ANY APOSTLE. However, the giving of gift to “THE BRETHREN IN NEED” was the testing of the sincerity of their love by their diligence. This giving of gift is also many times a testing of how well the overseers minister The Word in The Gospel with their lives.
