My first take on rendering the Earth. Atmosphere, ocean reflections, matte landmasses, nightside lights, starmap.

  • The ocean is a separate sphere that has a shiny surface that is slightly bumpy. The landmass is it's own sphere where the land is not reflective, and the actual land 'pokes through' the ocean sphere.

  • that earth is moving at googolzille mph....

  • Heheheh... It took about 4 hours to render 30 frames. :)

  • Spins too fast too see details easily but nice work

  • I might re-render it to slow it down a bit, and thanks. :)
