Gary Moore plays Gary Moore - Tribute Video

This is my friend Gary Moore of Florida USA playing a lead guitar tribute of two songs by his British / Irish name-sake, who sadly past away yesterday, 7th February 2011.

A note from Gary on why he chose to record this tribute:

"More than anything, I want people to know that I thought so highly of Gary Moore's guitar that I made attempt to learn his incredible work and while not "perfect" a tribute to something that is probably not obtainable, I don't think "anybody" could duplicate his work to perfection, but it was fun trying and shows that he was the pinnacle. I didn't want to be on video doing it because I didn't want any limelight or showcase on me but I didn't mind others hearing my attempt."

Rest in peace Robert William Gary Moore. We may never see his like again, but we will never forget him.

@noonsteradn Thank You very much. I didn'tknow what else to do in paying tribute to Gary Moore. It's always been cool having the same name and playing his style music and now he's gone. He was the best guitarist in the world and I just wanted to do something for him. He always pushed me to be a better guitar player - I feel like I lost family. Again, thanks for listening.
