Dell makes it pretty easy to take something that sounds complicated, like adding an extra hard drive, and making it a pretty simple process. This video outlines the process with easy to follow instructions.

  • Dell doesn't make hard drives, you may use any hard drive with the correct interface, ie SATA.

  • @Noobkilla99786 Its a dell dimension 9200

  • Can it have a good graphics card??

  • Whats this case called? its so freakin awesome, i need a name of it,

  • TIP: When you plug the data cable (RED) from the new hard drive into the motherboard, LOOK at the NUMBER by the socket on the motherboard. (can be 2, 3, or 4, or 1, 2 or 3. Your original hard drive should already occupy 0 or 1 socket. (some motherboard have numbered all data socket either 0-1-2-3, or 1-2-3-4)

After you close the case and turn the computer on, in F2 BIOS setup, that socket you used for the new hard drive is the drive number you will be turning on and saving now in the BIOS.
