RC Canadian Navy Ship - HMCS Iroquois DDH 280

My Scale 1/64 R/C HMCS Iroquois From the Canadian Navy

She's 7.5 feet long,tips the scales at 75 lbs when ready to run, has operational lights,rotors on helicopter, radar, lights and a siren.
Boat is about 95% scratch built being a scale of 1/64 which is not a common scale, She is modelled as she looked in the 70's when i saw her in Kingston, Ontario on a port calls of the great lakes.

Nice! I modelled her the way I saw her in the 70's on aGreat Lakes Port of calls, actually was in my 12 ft aluminum boat right beside her talking to the crew, now a days I would've been blown out of the water.

Was never a big fan when they took the bunny funnels away and squared her stacks but still a fine ship. Bunny funnels gave her character.

The thing I remember most about sailing on her sister ship Huron was that every square foot was used wisely either for armement or for radar/radio platforms...as a radio operater onboard we had lots of equipment compartments all over the place. What a great ship these were in their time...awsome job on this build Mike, AWSOME!!!
