I've also now acquired a raw soundboard audio recording of Genesis performing the entire rock opera "The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway" live at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles USA, January 24, 1975.

The difference between my version and the one on the Box Set is that there is no voice/instrumental overdubbing. Mine is the raw concert that was aired on the King Bisuit Flower Hour back in 1975. It also includes Watcher Of The Skies & The Musical Box, both of which are not on the box set.

First time I listened to the "Lamb lies down at Broadway" was totally THE music experience, and was as close to tripping as possible!!! And I still think it is. The album is a journey too complex to describe, and must be one of the best prog-albums made, ever.

I love this song, I love Genesis and I love Peter. He is one of my favourite artist and singer. The things he did in stage were fantastic, had never been seen before. And the costumes he used in others tracks are fantastic.

@markboccaccio Peter recently revealed in a Mojo interview that it was his decision not to film the shows. He said that looking back he thinks he was too much of a control freak. Pity...
