Hawaii... what could we get for $5 billion? Healthcare for all Hawaii's keiki--for the next 20 years. A roof over every person's head. Paid tuition at UH for every child under 10. Instead, we spend $5 billion each year on imported oil. And what do we get in return? The highest electricity rates and gas prices in the country. Blue Planet Foundation is working to change this picture. Because, Hawaii, isn't it time we took power into our own hands?
