I did this plus a set of Delkevic headers, eliminated the o2 sensors and got rid of the pair valves. When I took it to the dynojet tuner, the a/f ratio was so bad that he didn't even make a baseline map. It's great now, though. Much better off idle throttle control and smoother v-tec transition.

That's great! Then that is what I will do to mine. Much cheaper than slip ons, and I think it sounds better too. you must have driven really nice and easy to get that kind of MPG. I usually get about 44. With a little bit of screwing around, you know, a few fast accelerations, and a little bit of exceeding the speed limits.

sounds good man
This took all of 25 min to gut the pipes coast $50 re tig weld on. I have seen other videos on here were guys have cut the hole side off and one were they hit the baffles out with a sledge hammer not necessary cut the end caps off at the weld grip the baffles pull hard they come right out take a punch bust the tac weld off remove the two pipes drilled a 1 inch hole in the back of the baffles in line with the lower pipe tried the bike with out the baffle a full gut loved the way it sounded

I have put 1500 miles on the pipes now and they have gotten a little louder at idle has a nice big block sound to it.
