My friend and I went honkey tonk'n down town broad st. Nashville and stumbled across the best show in town. A twin fiddle western swing band Brazilbilly plays at Robert's Every Saturday night. I was lucky enough to catch the night when Marty Robbins son, Ronny, was in the house and was asked on stage to sing the Classic "El Paso". Did I mention they serve Fried Bologna sandwiches,
Man, this is great!! So good to see Ron still doin his Dad proud. Nice band, too. Would love to have been there! A friend of mine went down there this past summer and was lucky enough to catch Dave Roe (Johnny Cash's bass player in later years) up on stage. Said that place is the greatest to visit. I'm gonna make it to Nashville sometime to look around. Thanks for the post!
