John Wayne and Maureen O'hara are known for their chemistry on and off screen. Though, they were never actually a couple, they played one in all 5 films they made together. They were best friends for 39 years up until John's death in 1979.
I own nothing in this video. All clips and songs are not of my creation, just the collaboration itself.

song: Heart Will Go On-Celine Dion
clips and pictures from: The Quiet Man, Rio Grande, McClintock!, Wings of Eagles

  • does anyone think that if she was the right age at the right time she could have played rose in the Titanic?

  • I certainly do, I see a lot of Maureen in Kate Winslet and I think that if they were ever to remake a movie of Maureen's (other than the ones they've already done) they should use her. That being said, I don't like remakes about 90% of the time and I think if they ever remake The Quiet Man that I'd be very upset.

  • I agree, though I have to honest say that i really don't see the resemblance between Kate Winslet and Maureen... I mean it wouldn't be the worse choice ever I can stand it but i really can't see her in Maureen's shoes.. and I agree about The Quiet man I would be beyond upset haha.

and if Maureen was in titanic the drawing scene would have been rewritten because Maureen would not do nudity lol

  • @MaureenOHaraFan I was speaking more along the lines of acting ability, however, if you look at younger pictures of Maureen there are some similarities.

  • Maureen O'Hara is a real screen goddess. And I always enjoyed John Wayne movies. Did you have to use that song?

  • Love Love Loved it!! Thank you!

  • beautiful :)

  • The older I get, the sexier I find him. My Dad is a huge John Wayne fan and is very much like him... Do I need therapy??? :)

  • @MaureenOHaraFan ok thanks, it's just that i remember seeing many promos in black n white when I was a kid. probably due to the fact we never had a colour tv at the time

  • @fightermanizdebest No It was never in Black and White

  • so was the quiet man originally in black and white?

  • What a steamy chemistry these two people had on screen. I can relate my first love when I watch the scenes from the Quiet Man Oh to be young again :)

  • @zaniac1000 Um, how could you have been in the original sinking of Titanic when you're profile says your only 49 years old? By the judge of that you weren't even born yet as the Titanic sunk in 1912. If you were old enough to work in a match factory then as of now you would be over 100 years old. Do some research before you start making up stories.

  • @damienhugh I thought she lives in the Bahamas?
