  • Arguing on the internet is like the Special Olympics. No matter who wins you're still retarded.

  • I couldn't agree more.

  • I just love that film. BSYES is absolutely right. People can be real monsters not because how they look, but because how they act. I highly recomend anybody to see that film. It was an Video Google some time ago.

  • Why does this video get so many views? PEOPLE I HAVE WAY BETTER VIDEOS CHECK OUT MY CHANNEL!!!!!!

  • What's all that child-like sniggering in the background?

  • My brother thinks its funny how you can't understand Schliltzie about 34 seconds in. Can anyone tell me what shes saying

  • Ok, look, in this movie, the freaks turned out to be normal, decent hardworking people afflicted with physical deformities. The "normal" attractive showmen turned out to be manipulative monsters. It's actually a damned touching movie, and not just about laughing at scary looking people. People can be far more scary on the inside than out.

  • the goombas have taken over!

  • @enchantertim515 That was mean : (

  • @enchantertim515 Schlitzie has the intelligence of a 3 year old and is a man. His real name is Simon Mentz. But it's literally gibberish.

  • she so beautiful...

  • I dont see that condition in modern day people, why is that?

  • I just met a nurse that I could go for

  • they are real, I've heard people saying they aren't.

  • It was the whole notion that they were exploited by virtue of the "freak show" dynamic. It strikes me as PC chic. These people were willing participants and this was their source of livelyhood I would think that especially when this film was made (1931) during the worst days of the great depression this would be a real blessing rather than exploitation.

  • I dont get what I said that upset you? What was Ignorant about it? The fact that i said that microcephallics are virtually unknown now? or the fact that the film was banned for many years in the UK? Or was it the word "exploitation" perhaps? which I meant form the point of view that, many of these people were employed in real "freak shows" in circuses in America in the early 20th century,? However, I merely made the point out of observation not malice of to condone it in any way.

  • Ignorant comment. If you watch this film you will realize that the real "freaks" in it are the "normal People" who attempt to exploit these people. they are portrayed as what they were; real people with real feelings and lives. BTW the "pinhead" who is difficult to understand was Schlitzie Sertees and by all accounts was a well respected and loved man by those who knew him.

Go find another cause to make yourself feel important.
