@elsephen Michael Ball was in the original london cast recording. There WAS no one before him - unless you count the french version of Les Mis, and I don't think they even had this song...I'm not sure... But Michael Ball defined the role of Marius. He was the first. But this guy is pretty good too. What other people have you heard sing EC@ET, I wanna see if I'm missing out.

I don't know if you notice but when you watch the different singers sing their parts they all sound similar. I would say this guy sounds very similar to Michael Ball! Lovely voice!
