This is a side by side comparison of the Enlighten Deluxe Passenger Car and the passenger car from the LEGO Emerald Night set, and I also compare the Enlighten regular Passenger Car to the passenger car of the Hogwarts Express.
Many people have asked me to show some of my LEGO and LEGO compatible trains. This is the second of several videos where I will share some of the trains that I have, and possibly introduce you to a new player in the brick market. Enlighten Brick makes LEGO compatible toys, of comparable quality. And as LEGO's quality continues to decline, it just makes brick companies such as Enlighten that much more of a bargain.

  • do you think it would look nice with the red couch and the fersco fe togehter

  • @benjaminthomas2000 I can try that in a video and see how it looks.

  • lego is better but the enlighten trains are pretty good looking like the steam trains and its also good the lego track and the enlighten track can go together

  • @simsy72 Yes I agree, I wish LEGO had as big a selection of trains as Enlighten does. If all things were equal, I would always pick LEGO, but with the wide variety of sets, and the much lower prices, Enlighten is worth looking at.

  • Lego trains are better but enlighten but enlighten have good value

  • post more videos like this not that it has to be the cars but not like the last 5 vids you made

  • the roof brick r louse on mine and one of my order was damage. the green one

  • i agree enlighten has a very good variety of trains as they are good looking and compatible with lego trains only if enlighten and lego could combine there ideas and make a improved train

  • @youtship

I'm not sure about the type of plastic it's made from, but I'm sure it is lower in quality. But with the much lower price of Enlighten, I have no problem with the lower quality plastic. Also, in many of my Enlighten sets, they include extra hands for the mini figs in case they break. I have considered buying one of those lead home testing kits, and testing the Enlightened bricks. But truly theses days anything that comes out of China is a suspect for lead, formaldehyde, or worse.

  • @youtship I totally agree with you here. I have also noticed that if you compare the newer LEGO train base plates with the Enlighten ones, they both seem to be made of the lower quality plastic; softer than the normal LEGO bricks. Another downside to this LEGO marketing aggression, is the flourishing aftermarket for LEGO sets where people are charging 10 times more than their original price because the set can no longer be bought new. No wonder there is such a large black-market on these toys.
