UPDATE: 340 degrees reached! :O)
Hi,

This is a follow up vid for my new solar oven. Again the temp has no problem sailing right past the 212 mark. Upon closer examination I see that a deeper box would allow me to tip it further to track the morning and evening sun. Not that I totally need that, but if I ever make another oven I will make the box three to five inches deeper.

:O)

  • Meh...I was gonna show this to my 9th grade class until you started saying "fucking" repeatedly. Oh well :(

  • You have a good box on there all you need to do is move the beautiful fucking spokes closer to the extreme top of that beautiful fucking box you are right that is just fucking beautiful.

  • @wildgift2 I couldn't agree more, isn't it incredible what happens to food in there? I cooked tomatoes for about three hrs and they were a new food. And corn on the cob? Forget about it! :OP

  • @guitarrarl potatoes might be edible at an hour, but leave it in for three hours and it'll taste like a whole other food. The flavors really come out.

  • wish I have one - cool -

save money - and very powerful staff - love it..

  • Hi: Rustoleun oven paint dries within minutes and after heating the oven for a couple of hours it will leave no flavors or odors. I used t it to paint my Sun Oven from Gloval. At 350F your potatos should be ready within an hour and bread should take 45 minutes. I believe the black interior does help collect a higher temp.

    I hope this helps \.
