  • There is a version of this song that used to be on youtube. It was removed. I can only imagine his family had it removed as they wish to release it in the future. I am aware there is a lot of stuff he has recorded which won't be released for a long time. Family making cash. Anyways ... the youtube posting was "Villanova junction rare studio recording" anyone know what i may be on about?

  • @GianniGivarche Theres one version on "Morning Symphony Ideas" called "Jungle" and two different versions on "Burning Desire". Was it one of those?

  • Keep on groovin´ ? Isnt it "Midnight Lightnin`" ?

  • @pbstratocaster I believe that's a common misconception because the only time I can remember him tying these lyrics together was at the Isle of Wight. To me, Midnight Lightning is a different song all together. It was common for him to blend the "keep on grooving" theme to many different titles at the time.

  • @anthropomorphicide And to heap punishment on you,a lot of this stuff WAS on y-tube.Scrubbed of course by the dragons janie and sony. There was a stunning version of crashlanding. He was cracking some funny stuff right before he starts up.It was precious.I'm sure some of it will turn up again:)

  • ne one remember the black moon jimi did but the tape was over written by some one. does ne one remember jimi rambling on for 20min. its called closer to the truth sum one 1 removed it thought :( that was also on the black moon book

  • @jumasultanedwards Im a bit awestruck you've left a message on here. It must have been an incredible experience to know Jimi Hendrix and play with him. I wish we could hear more of your work on the Woodstock performance as they edited the sound. I hope you carried on with your music and are still playing and recording.

  • all this Berkley stuff is killing me, Soundchecks of Villanova Junction and the ENTIRE Hear my Train a'comin. I mean this stuff is pure gold.

    thanx a million.

  • Sweet jam, Jimi forever +++

  • this fucking guy cant be stopped!! takes whatever he's already done and makes it even better and more different

  • Jimi Hendrix is the best guitarist of all time!

  • @waydeepinside

There is no more footage. We're lucky there is any at all. The guys who filmed the show were off their heads on drugs. They messed the whole thing up. They couldnt focus the cameras. Hear My Train A Comin is 12 min long but the camera guys only got 4 mins of it.
