New to University Liggett School's upper school spirit week for fall 2003 was the class cheer. The task was to rewrite songs, making the lyrics relate to our class and school. Even though the Juniors (class of 2005) actually won this event, I still think our cheer was better. Not to mention the girls' outfits. The dress up theme for that Thursday was officially college day but a few people decided at the last minute it might be cool to don 80's gear and virtually all the girls responded. Anyways, our class of 2004 went on to repeat as Spirit Week champs, having also won it as juniors. And we also won the middle school spirit week in 7th and 8th grades so our class ultimately won 4 out of 7 years.
So here is Dustin with "Regulators," Barré and Yash for "Jump Around," Ashley, Chelsea and Meghan on "Like a Senior," and finally Joanna, Ashley and Sylvie giving some "R-E-S-P-E-C-T."
**And I really shouldn't have to say this but as these are technically song parodies, this falls under fair use and does not infringe any copyright.**

For a second there I thought this was a current and it really freaked me out. I was like "am I so old now that I don't recognize the seniors? Where has the time gone?" It was kind of frightening.
Then I saw 2003 and I calmed down.

Yeah, you would have been in 8th grade at the time.
But thanks a lot, now you've made me feel old :(
