  • Hey Mike! I like them all...the first one at :12 caught my eye with that texture...I really liked the glaze effects on 1:38. Put them together and what have you got? A wonderful pot!

  • Thanks man. I am doing a little art and craft show in Oct 3... .I am interested to see if people like this stuff. I like it, but I am not sure the general public will???

  • Craft shows are an interesting subject Mike. The answer to your question is that it will depend on what kind of craft sale you are participating in...ones that have a larger application fee are usually advertised better so the traffic of people is larger. There are many sophisticated people regarding art but you will see customers of all kinds...and don't get discouraged if you see someone that makes an ornament selling like hotcakes...I hope you have great success!

  • Mark, I clicked remove, so I reposted your comment so you could repost it yourself if you wanted. Anyway.... I forgot about ornaments. DUH. I have these stupid snowflake molds that I could make ornaments with. Not the most interested thing I would ever make, but I bet they would sell well and give me a little extra ching-ching.

  • 33 is my favorite. It looks like you took pugging a step up.

    Your fan,

    Claire

  • Hi Claire, thanks for watching. What do you mean by pugging exactly? LOL.

  • The exploded piece at :49 reminds me of an 'abalone-ish' bowl I did several years ago. Very nice! I also like the first piece, nice texture and color. Good luck at the show next weekend. Keep up the good work.

  • Beautiful pieces....Have a look at the Funny Potters Song on youtube.....your "painted surfaces" reminded me of it, meant to direct you to it earlier.....

  • Pugging is making small balls of clay and than pressing them in a mold. One smooths the inside, but the outside retains the circle shapes of the balls. I hope it doesn't mean something else too! LOL Claire

  • No, I'm getting that by applying pressure to the clay between my thumb and index finger. Maybe I should make a video about it. Thanks for watching!
