Office 2008 for Mac Review

Review of Office 2008.
I am a private beta tester. (Please do not ask for the beta download or how to sign up it is now over). I however am very lucky to be running the Goldmaster right now! :-) Hope you enjoy and it will definitely be worth the money come January.

By the way, the folks in Redmond must be going Mac friendly because this a breeze to use compared to Office 2007 on Windows. All the Menu items and tools are all still in the same spot.

Just to make things interesting though, i will give the first person who asks a torrent download for the beta and how to crack it so you won't have to pay come january.

i am unaware of how to become a new beta tester, they open the beta tester application site for like 2 hours and then they close it. just stay tuned to youtube and microsofts website, as for being italian, i guess the same concepts apply

office for mac and office for windows support the same file extensions. this version saves in a new format called (.docx, .xlsx, .pptx) so if you need it to be compatible with earlier versions of mac or windows versions of office lower than 2007 or 2008 you have to change the file extension when saving.

the beta unfortunately has disappeared from the torrent sites so i current ly do not have a location for download and its worth more than my life to put the goldmaster online

Does the Office for Mac 2009 work with the PowerPC? I was told that it did at a used store where I got the unopened Box from. I would like to know before I pick it up with the other stuff that I bought.

It's called .docx because it's the new upgraded version of Microsoft Office. The PC's got that too.

hello, can you help me getting the german grammarcheck working in word 2008? althoug it is activated in the grammar-preference it doesn't check the required language for any faults. do i need to download an extra grammartool for german language. if so, where on microsoft-site can i find it?
